Literacy and ESL Training
Adult Literacy Programs are offered at the Ardmore Library.
In 1988 the Ardmore Library offered its first General Educational Diploma (G.E.D) preparation class to adult learners and has continued to offer adult basic literacy classes up to the present. Classes are taught by certified teachers and trained volunteers.
The G.E.D. preparation/ adult basic literacy class is partially funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Adult Basic and Literacy Education. The class is offered once a year during summer/ fall evenings.
