11TH Annual Charlotte Miller Simon Poetry Contest

The Ardmore Library celebrates the art of poetry through its annual competition held in memory of Charlotte Miller Simon, a former poet, teacher and patron of the library. This celebration is made possible by a generous endowment from Jonathan and Christina Miller. In this eleventh year of the contest, the library received nearly 300 entries. The Charlotte Miller Simon Poetry Celebration, at which prizes will be awarded and the winning poems read, will take place on Sunday, March 13, at 2 pm, in the Board Room on the 2nd floor of the Lower Merion Township Building, 75 E. Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore. The public is invited to attend.

Gladwyne Library Closes

The Gladwyne Library has closed for renovation. The last day open was 1/15/16. Click here for more info. Library patrons may use the following Lower Merion Libraries during the closure: Bala Cynwyd Library, Belmont Hills Library, Ardmore Library & Ludington Library. Complete hours for the Lower Merion Libraries may be found on this website under Hours & Holidays or Member Libraries. All library books from Gladwyne Library may be returned anywhere in the system.

Penn Wynne to Reopen Soon

The Penn Wynne Library is closed for renovation. It is expected to reopen in late February /early March. Library patrons may use the following Lower Merion Libraries during the closure:
Bala Cynwyd Library, Belmont Hills Library, Ardmore Library & Ludington Library. Complete hours for the Lower Merion Libraries may be found on this website under Hours & Holidays or Member Libraries. All library books from Penn Wynne Library may be returned anywhere in the system.
