Request for Proposal (RFP) - LMLS Website Redesign

Please find the following Request for Proposal LMLS.ORG WEBSITE REDESIGN. Sealed Proposals will be accepted in the Office of the Director of Libraries, 75 E. Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 18, 2015 for the purpose of the redesign of the Lower Merion Library System Website. Questions may be made to the Office of the Director of Libraries by email ONLY at jdeangelis@lmls.org by 5 p.m. December 11, 2015. No telephone calls will be accepted. Reminder: LMLS will host a meeting for all web design vendors interested in the LMLS Web Design RFP. The meeting will take place Nov. 30th from 2-4 PM at Ludington Library, 5 S. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. No registration is necessary.

LMLS Seeks Member-At-Large for Board

The Lower Merion Library System is currently accepting applications for a Member-At-Large to serve on the system’s Board of Directors. This is an important volunteer position requiring a minimum time commitment of one evening per month. The Library System is designated by the Township of Lower Merion to act as the township’s agent to provide library services for residents. Board directors are responsible for policy-making, stewardship, and long range planning for the six members: Ardmore, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills, Gladwyne, Ludington and Penn Wynne Libraries. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a resume to the President of the Board of Directors, LMLS, 75 East Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003. Deadline to submit resumes is 12/15/15.

Libraries Closed for Renovation

The Ardmore Free Library and the Penn Wynne Library are closed for renovation. The Libraries will reopen in January/February 2016. Construction updates will be available on this site as the projects move forward. Click here for construction update information as of October 2015. Library patrons may use the following Lower Merion Libraries during the closure:
Bala Cynwyd Library, Belmont Hills Library, Gladwyne Library & Ludington Library.

*All library books from Ardmore Free Library and Penn Wynne Library may be returned anywhere in the system.
