Closed Sundays - Summer 2015
All LMLS libraries will be closed on Sundays from June 21, 2015 through September 6, 2015.
Summer Reading Club
Summer Reading Club (SRC) will run June 15 to August 10, 2015. Adults, teens and children of all ages are encouraged to register at your favorite Lower Merion library. Participants can enter drawings for great prizes including gift baskets, T-shirts, gift cards and much more.
This year's theme is "Every hero has a story." There will be plenty of superhero fun at your local LMLS library. Click here for more info.
Make plans to come to the Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Ludington Library on Saturday, June 20, from 11 am to 3 pm. Thanks to a donation from the Bryn Mawr Trust Company, caricature artist Luis Aparicio will be drawing and painting attendees displaying their superpowers, and McElvenney Magic will be creating balloon art. We will have make-and-take crafts for all ages, a raffle for a Reading Fightin’ Phils prize pack, and Star Wars photo-ops. Love Hot Dog Co. food truck will be vending their delicious wares.
Science in the Summer - Oceanography
New for this year, registration will be online instead of in-person. Use your home computer or visit your local library to use the public computers. Registration started May 4. Registrations will be processed in the order they are received. To register your child, visit www.scienceinthesummer.com.
